We are a friendly group of woodworkers from in and around the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to furthering the art of marquetry.
If you are interested in marquetry, or if you'd just like to find out what it's all about, please feel free to drop by one of our monthly meetings at The Sawdust Shop in Sunnyvale, California. Visitors and guests are always most welcome!
At our meetings, we usually have one or more presentations about technique followed by a show-and-tell session where members talk about their latest projects. A prize draw for attending members is held at the end of each meeting.
Our meetings are held on a quarterly rota to accomodate members work and travel schedules. The first meeting of each quarter is held on the fourth Saturday of the month, from 10am to 3pm with a break for lunch. The second and third meetings of each quarter are held on the evening of the third Tuesday of those months, from 7pm to 10pm.
